Hi guys,
I have a project that’s underway, a new design of bullet I call ‘Hypercav’. In it’s simplist explanation, I’ve added ‘ports’ to the hollow point cavity, making any round more efficient.
(You can see details at my website: http://www.hypercavbullets.com)
Anyway, I designed this modification primarily for handgun ammo, but as this project has evolved, it’s looking like there are rifle applications as well.
We shot a few B-Gels, and it looks good. But frankly, there is no substitute for the real world.
I was wondering if anyone would like to participate in in-field testing?
I would provide you ammo, you hunt, and then report your findings for data collection (photos would be great!).
This would prove invaluable for my research, as nothing tells the story when the metal meets the meat.
If you would like to participate, go to my website, at the left lower, is a “wishlist”. Fill out the form, and be sure to comment that you saw it at this forum, and I’ll get in touch w/you as soon as I can.
Thanks much...front sight focus!
