hey mike, my name is jason i live in michigan too. Well the turnips are and annual, so i don’t think they will. Thats what i have been waiting for in my plot but just the clover and chicory is coming back really strong. The thing about Urea, thats just another form of nitrogen. I have fertilzed my alfalfa with the same stuff. I just got done last week with fertilizing for the fall. what that does is gives the plant the boost it needs for the winter. Clover is pretty close to the same, so i don’t think it would hurt, but don’t go to high. on my plot i used a triple 19 in the spring and a triple 13 in the fall. My reasoning is the fact that its got really warm here, and i don’t want to burn my plot. Nitrogen will burn your plot if u put to much down. What i do is put your fertilizer down just before it rains. I hope this helps, i’m learning to with the hole food plot thing. Mine has been in the ground for a few years but i just didn’t have the money to keep up with it. But now i’m really putting the effort and money down to grow these big bucks and hold them here. hope you have a good season.
