I planted a small Tecomate chicory food plot in middle Tennessee in October of 2008.
The chicory came up very well. I fenced a small test area to check the usage by the deer
and also observed the tracks in the plot. The deer did not readily eat the chicory and very
few tracks were visible during the fall and winter. I have mowed the plot this spring and have
a great food plot but still have very little evidence the deer are eating the chicory. Any one have any ideas as I am very disappointed in the chicory plot at this time.
