I am new to the forum, and very new to food plots.  This will be my first.  I know I need to test the soil, and in my region more than likly I will need to add lots of lime.  My question is, where I have my treestand at its not a deer highway.  They don’t walk through there until late summer when I start to put out corn.  I want to put a food plot out there to get them to travel through there on a regular basis and to provide them with nutrition year round.  I have been looking at the tecomate buckbeans to plant.  Any information about anything would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!!
