I’ve got some very sandy soil on my property & haven’t had much success w/ sorghum.  I know it’s recommended to plant lab lab in conjunction w/ millet, sorghum pr corn.  Has anyone had any success growing it w/ something other than these?  If not, what are the disadvantages to planting it alone w/ nothing for it to grow up?

if you wanna only plant lab lab without a hearty stalked companion crop… just run some string with several wooden stakes in the plot. the lab lab should shoot up ‘em just fine- however, one of the greatest advantages of having a diverse plot is (ex. fast growing taller crops for deer to feed on while shorter slow growing crops are somewhat shielded with ample time to grow to maturity) i hope that wasnt too confusing.
