Hi, I’m new here, and am looking for a place to post a special request.

I am looking for several(4-5) partners to purchase 3 sections of land and then “improve” the habitat to make it more viable to hunt on your own property.
The land I’m looking at is in Eastern Nevada. It has Elk, mule deer, sage hens, Pronghorns, mtn. lion, coyotes, and has BLM land next to it, that we could possible lease for a total near 3800 acres. This would be a “poor mans”
hunting area:).

I have looked around and have not found any place to put a request like this out, so this is a little different.

So, if there is anybody out there that would like more information, send me a “pm” and I’ll explain in more detail.

Thanks for your help.

Doug

Interesting idea, Doug. What kind of things would be done to make the habitat more huntable? By the way, have you heard back from any other interested parties yet? What have they said?

I have a sprained ankle right now that I think might be broken, so I’m pretty out of commission for the next few months. Maybe we can chat after that though.

The thought would be to 1st, put in a guzzler for water. then put out minerals. I would then like to test soil and put in dry hardy food plots. I have talked with a mule deer biologist with the Nevada Dept of Game.
He says he knows the ares pretty good and water would be the biggest problem. I live in Alaska, so this would be done in the Spring when snow and rain would hopefully be available. I would come down and visit
family and do some work. I don’t have lots of money so it would be a “hands on” kind of situation.
At least that is the thought.

You are the only person that has responded thus far. I don’t know if this form is read by many people out “west” or if it is to far for most people that read this.

Thanks,
Doug
