“Being a 41-year old obsessed water-fowler and an artist by nature, I have been for the past 8 years passionately developing and fine-tuning my own properties here in Nebraska, as well as that of others, to maximize their duck and goose hunting potential. My designs, implementations, and management have paid off, and I now have created what is thought of by some to be as fine a quality of water-fowling as God should allow a man. So, next I wanted to take my own whitetail program to that same level, but (as opposed to Mallards and Canadas) I have only minimal knowledge when it comes to deer and turkey – yet I am rapidly gaining interest in their pursuit! Still, I didn’t know where to start until I was referred to Tecomate Wildlife Systems by some deer hunting friends of mine. In no time a Tecomate Wildlife Biologist was on my property pointing out numerous ways to improve the deer and turkey hunting on my tract and how to do it in line with my waterfowl program - perfect! And very important!! I learned so much, so fast. I wanted to have it all, but I didn't know if it could be done without negatively impacting my waterfowl development…not a problem according to the Tecomate design and I am excited and anxious to start. Through Tecomate I now have a totally new outlook on managing my ranch and a new passion for growing trophy whitetails.”

“I grew up hunting in Ohio and have a real passion for bow hunting Whitetails. After I purchased “Fast Cars and Freedom Farm” here in TN I started looking around for some help and guidance with managing the wildlife and growing some trophy bucks on the property. My good friend David Blanton told me about Tecomate Wildlife Systems and their Consulting Services so I gave them a ring. Their Senior Wildlife Biologist Rans Thomas came and spent a couple of days with us on the farm. In just that short time I learned so much about the game that my farm was holding, what it could produce, and how to maximize that potential. We are very excited about the direction we will be taking under his guidance. Managing my own property is as much a passion with me as hunting trophy whitetails and Tecomate is giving me the know how to do it right”.

"I am the manager of a farm in Georgia. The owners and our lease holders have been hunting deer on the farm for years but I wanted to increase the quality of the deer hunting for both and even take our private deer program to the next level by trying trophy management. When I graduated in the late 70’s with a wildlife degree the excepted concepts for deer management were that you could only increase the health and quality of a deer herd through heavy harvest and that food plots would not make a difference unless you planted almost all of your land. After only a brief tour of the farm with Tecomate Pro-staff Biologist, Rans Thomas I not only learned the importance of year round food plot nutrition using the right plants at the right time of year but he quickly outlined a direct path to take to achieve my goals by finding the best area on the farm to grow trophy bucks that was the right size, in the right location, had the right soil types, and made the most sense to me to micro manage for trophy bucks. Already we are light years ahead of where we would be with food plot management, harvest management, hunting strategies, and native habitat management for growing trophy deer. We are also planting Tecomate products and extremely pleased with the results. We are already off to a great start seeing and harvesting some monster bucks this fall. Rans also provided us with great information and guidance regarding the management or our hunting leases, quail project, timber, waterfowl, and wild turkeys. We have had Rans back continually since May of 2005 and are very excited about where we are going with Tecomate’s consulting service and products. We are looking forward to watching our program grow and even exceed our expectations."
